I just went on Facebook and saw a post of a young man who I went to high school with. It was a “joke” and went as followed: What’s the difference between Trayvon and Lebron? Trayvon took the last shot. 

I am enraged right now. I am literally trembling with anger. This was not the ignorant racist post of a Klan member. No, it was the status of a 21 year old black man boy. HOW DARE YOU TAKE THE DEATH OF THAT BOY LIGHTLY AND HAVE THE AUDACITY TO JOKE ABOUT IT! That young man could have been you shot dead in the street. Did you ever think of that?! No, you couldn’t have. Because too much of your time is sucked up perpetuating only the purest form of IGNORANCE. I just can’t understand how someone could trivialize that young man’s death in such a crude way. 

You should be horsewhipped, drawn and quartered. I am astounded at how blatantly insensitive and cruel individuals can be. I am in tears right now just pissed the hell off! UGH! Shame on you.
